Baker, dreamer, and full-time dog mom to one very important pup: Jimmy Dean—affectionately known as Jelly Bean. When he was just a wiggly little nugget, some neighborhood kids misheard his name and started calling him Jelly Bean. The name stuck like icing on a warm cinnamon roll, and it felt only right to name my bakery after the sweetest little sidekick I know.

Baking has always been my love language. I pour care, creativity, and a bit of whimsy into every order—treats that are meant to bring joy, spark nostalgia, and taste like a warm hug. From delicate details to bold flavors, I believe every dessert should feel a little magical and made just for you.

Jelly Beans Bakery is a sugar-dusted celebration of joy, comfort, and the beautiful messiness of life. Named after my beloved pup, this little bakery is rooted in love — the kind you share around kitchen tables, at birthday parties, and in those little “just thinking of you” care packages.

My whole life, family and celebration have been at the center of everything I do. Nothing brings me more joy than baking for a cousin’s birthday, dropping off surprise cookies for a friend who needs a pick-me-up, or whipping up a themed treat for a big game. Baking has always been my love language. I didn’t always nail it when I started (some cookies were... abstract at best), but even back then, they tasted good and made people smile — and that was enough to keep me going.

Over the years, my skills have grown, but that core value has never changed: to create something sweet that brings a little light to someone’s day.

As a passionate sports fan, I get just as excited making Super Bowl cupcakes as I do crafting cookie boxes for the local school’s big game. Whether I’m cheering on my original hometown teams or my adopted home’s heroes, you better believe there’s a themed treat in the works.

Honestly, I have a vast array of passions — and I’m convinced there’s a cookie or cupcake to match every single one of them. Probably with sprinkles.
