DISCLAIMER
By placing an order with Jelly Beans Bakery you agree to the terms and policies on this page. These terms are designed to keep expectations clear for both of us so you know exactly how ordering, payment, pickup and changes work.
If you have any questions before you order, please contact me and I will be happy to clarify.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Lead time
I require at least 2 weeks notice for custom cookies, cupcakes and cakes.
Rush orders may be possible for an additional fee, depending on my schedule and baking capacity.
Design and flavor approval
You tell me your event date, guest count, flavors, colors, theme and whether you prefer pickup or delivery.
I will communicate clearly and send design ideas or sketches for approval before anything is confirmed.
Once designs, colors, flavors and pickup or delivery details are approved, I will:
Create an invoice
Send it by email or text, depending on your preference.
Paying your invoice
You can pay through the secure link on your invoice or bring cash or card to the store.
Your 50 percent deposit is due when you approve the order and receive your invoice.
Final payment is due on or before pickup or delivery. Orders will not be released without full payment.
Changes to custom orders
Small changes may be possible up to 7 days before your pickup or delivery date.
Major changes to design, theme, flavors or quantity may change the price and are not guaranteed, especially during busy seasons.
PRE-ORDERS (Holiday and Special Releases)
For seasonal sets and limited time offers:
A deposit is due when you place your pre order.
I will create an invoice and send it by email or text, and you can pay through the link or in person with cash or card.
Final payment is due at pickup or delivery.
Each pre order will have a clearly stated final order date.
After that date:
Quantities are locked in.
Payments are non refundable and changes are not guaranteed.
CHANGES, DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS BY THE BAKER
If an unexpected situation arises on my end that affects your order (illness, emergency or supply issue), I will contact you as soon as possible to discuss options, which may include:

Adjusting the design or flavors

Changing the pickup or delivery time

Refunding some or all of your payment if I am unable to complete the order
ALLERGIES AND FOOD SENSITIVITIES
Jelly Beans Bakery operates as a small cottage bakery. While I do my best to avoid cross contact when requested, my kitchen regularly uses common allergens such as wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy and food colorings.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform me of any allergies or food sensitivities before placing an order. I cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment, and I am not responsible for reactions that occur after pickup or delivery.
CARE AND STORAGE
You are responsible for properly storing your treats after pickup or delivery.
Basic care instructions will be provided with your order when needed.
Heat, humidity, direct sunlight and improper storage can affect the look and quality of decorated baked goods and are outside my control once the order leaves my hands.
USE OF PHOTOS
I may photograph your order for my portfolio and social media. These photos will never include personal or payment information.
If your order contains a name or identifiable details and you prefer that not be shared, please let me know when you place your order.
UPDATES TO THESE TERMS
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The version posted on this website at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
